It is the CIO’s role to align digital transformation initiatives with broader business goals.
As I have shared before, I strongly believe that technology is simply a means to an end. That end is improved business outcomes (do you know what those are for your organization?).
Once you understand the business goals, you can identify and execute the necessary digital transformation activities to enable those outcomes.
