Challenge

CPA Firm had grown significantly across geographies and had difficulty managing Internet circuits across multiple commercial and residential telecommunications vendors.

Approach

• Developed catalog of IT circuits across locations
• Researched telecom providers that would support not just current footprint but also expansion plans into new states and locations.
• Reviewed existing IT contracts and developed project plan for migration based on existing contract terms
• Led evaluation process to identify future state preferred telecom provider
• Worked with vendor to provision replacement circuits and migrate Internet connectivity for each location

Outcome

• Client saved 18% by consolidating telecom spend on a primary vendor and transitioned legacy circuits to new vendor as contracts expired.
• Client now has a standard SLA and point of contact for infrastructure issues.
